Job summary

Trane Technologies in Hyderabad, India, seeks a hands-on service technician to support commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of chillers and HVAC systems. You will commission units, repair HVAC equipment, and coordinate with the Service Coordinator for parts and movement.

You will lead weekly safety meetings, provide monthly plans, update the Service Manager with progress, handle customer service requirements, and ensure timely, high-quality completion of all service tasks

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with chiller commissioning, repairs and services.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with service teams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Repairing all types of HVAC equipment.
• Conducting customer follow-ups and participating in scheduled meetings.
• Coordinating with the Service Coordinator for movement planning and parts requirements.
• Leading weekly team meetings on safety, site audits, and backlog status.
• Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator with monthly plans.
• Attending and handling complaints for all models of chillers and low-side equipment.
• Performing timely PPM for chillers according to company SOP.
• Conducting RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL.
• Ensuring adherence to Trane’s EHS guidelines.
• Handling all customer service requirements professionally.
• Generating leads during service visits.
• Ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality completion of all service tasks.
• Providing daily reports to the office and ASM.
• Sharing service reports with the deployer along with parts requirements.
• Maintaining a valid driving license for 2-wheeler/4-wheeler.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and vehicle audit requirements.
• Using MS Office, Internet, and email tools for reporting and documentation.

What Will You Do
