Job summary

Trane Technologies India is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to commission, repair, and maintain HVAC chillers on-site. You will lead safety-focused weekly meetings, coordinate manpower and parts, and ensure timely service delivery across all models.

Applicants should have strong technical knowledge of chillers and experience in servicing and AMC support. The role requires excellent customer communication, reporting, and adherence to EHS standards, with a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems.
• Hands-on experience in chiller servicing, installation, warranty tasks, and AMC support.
• Ability to handle customer interactions and service requests effectively.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Repairing all types of HVAC equipment.
• Conducting customer follow-ups and attending meetings.
• Coordinating with the Service Coordinator for manpower deployment and parts requirements.
• Leading weekly team meetings focused on safety, site audits, and pending work.
• Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator with the monthly plan.
• Handling service requirements and complaints for all chiller models and low-side systems as per guidelines.
• Performing timely preventive maintenance (PPM) for chillers as per company SOP.
• Conducting RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL.
• Ensuring full adherence to Trane EHS guidelines.
• Managing customer service requirements professionally and efficiently.
• Generating leads during service interactions.
• Ensuring high-quality and timely completion of service tasks.
• Submitting daily reports to the office and ASM.
• Sharing service reports with the deployer, including required parts.

What will you do

• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.

• Coordinating with the Service Coordinator for manpower deployment and parts requirements.
• Leading weekly team meetings focused on safety, site audits, and pending work.
• Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator with the monthly plan.
• Handling service requirements and complaints for all chiller models and low-side systems as per guidelines.
• Performing timely preventive maintenance (PPM) for chillers as per company SOP.
