Job summary

Trane Technologies, Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Service Technician to commission, repair, and service HVAC chillers and related equipment on-site. The role involves coordinating with the service team, conducting safety meetings, and delivering timely, high-quality service reports.

You will drive customer satisfaction with strong communication, adherence to safety guidelines, and proactive follow-up during service visits, while maintaining daily reporting and parts coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with chiller commissioning, repairs and service.
• Ability to work independently and with service teams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic internet usage.
• Commitment to safety, quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Repairing all types of HVAC equipment.
• Conducting customer follow-ups and meetings.
• Coordinating with the Service Coordinator for movement planning and parts requirements.
• Leading weekly team meetings on safety, audits, and backlog status.
• Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator with monthly plans.
• Handling complaints for all models of chillers and low-side equipment.
• Performing timely PPM for chillers per SOP.
• Conducting RCA for failures and sharing findings with Quality and FFL.
• Ensuring adherence to EHS guidelines.
• Managing customer service requirements professionally.
• Generating leads during service visits.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tasks.
• Providing daily reports to office and ASM.
• Sharing service reports with deployer and parts requirements.
• Maintaining a valid driving license for 2-wheeler/4-wheeler.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and vehicle audits.
• Using MS Office, Internet, and email for reporting.

Where is the work

What will you do

Responsibilities include:

• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Repairing all types of HVAC equipment.
• Conducting customer follow-ups and participating in scheduled meetings.
• Coordinating with the Service Coordinator for movement planning and parts requirements.
• Leading weekly team meetings on safety, site audits, and backlog status.
• Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator with monthly plans.
• Attending and handling complaints for all models of chillers and low-side equipment.
• Performing timely PPM for chillers according to company SOP.
• Conducting RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL.
• Ensuring adherence to Trane’s EHS guidelines.
• Handling all customer service requirements professionally.
• Generating leads during service visits.
• Ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality completion of all service tasks.
• Providing daily reports to the office and ASM.
• Sharing service reports with the deployer along with parts requirements.
• Maintaining a valid driving license for 2-wheeler/4-wheeler.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and vehicle audit requirements.
• Using MS Office, Internet, and email tools for reporting and documentation.
