Role Overview

Join our outstanding Mumbai/Bengaluru based team as a Senior Security Systems Engineer. Bring your expertise in risk mitigation planning and technical troubleshooting to deliver outstanding projects, influence best practices, and develop consultancy skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Technical Specifications and review work/specifications of subordinates.
• Undertake project technical/quality reviews and attend design reviews.
• Undertake site visits as needed for smooth operation of the projects.
• Contribute to group initiatives with respect to technical development, market sectors and processes.
• Design security systems (VSS, AACS, IDS, PIDS, SMS) and identify critical considerations and factors.
• Develop and author technical security specifications on projects.
• Use BIM technology and 3D Modelling (Revit) in design development on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Research and apply relevant standards applicable to security and related systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide consultancy advice.
• Demonstrate proactive approach, prioritise work effectively, and work under pressure.
• Develop design tools/automation (e.g., C#) to support design processes.

Qualifications

• Design role experience of 6+ years in security systems within the built environment.
• Proficiency in Autodesk tools: AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit.
• Published technical security specifications on past projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards for security systems.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Basic coding knowledge (C#) for automation tool development.
• Understanding of BIM technology and 3D modelling.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory capacity.

Education

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems and Communications Engineering or related field.
