Job summary

BlueCloud is a Snowflake Elite Partner focusing on data migration, governance, BI, and AI/ML solutions. We are seeking a Senior SAP BW Developer to support a critical S/4HANA conversion project with emphasis on validation, data consistency, and regression testing of existing SAP BW functionalities.

The role requires an experienced professional who can operate independently on defined work packages, identify discrepancies, and perform root cause analysis across data flows between ERP and BW

Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of experience in SAP BW development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW 7.5.
• Proficiency in SAP Analysis for Office.
• Solid ABAP development skills (debugging, enhancements, transformations).
• Ability to work independently on structured tasks and deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data validation and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Perform regression testing of SAP BW functionalities.
• Validate and reconcile data extracts (~50+) for inconsistencies.
• Monitor and analyze delta queues for accurate data loads.
• Review and validate data model changes, including field lengths and data types.
• Analyze transformation rules and raw data between ERP and BW systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies through root cause analysis.
• Ensure data integrity throughout the S/4HANA migration.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP BW Developer to support a critical S/4HANA conversion project, with a strong focus on validation, data consistency, and regression testing of existing SAP BW functionalities.

This role requires an experienced professional who can operate independently on defined work packages, identify discrepancies, and perform root cause analysis across data flows between ERP and BW systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regression testing of existing SAP BW functionalities (guided by internal senior resources where needed).
• Validate and reconcile data extracts (~50+) to identify inconsistencies or errors.
• Monitor and analyze delta queues to ensure accurate data loads.
• Review and validate data model changes, including field length and data type adjustments.
• Analyze and compare transformation rules and raw data between ERP and BW systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies through root cause analysis.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the S/4HANA migration process.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP BW development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BW 7.5.
• Proficiency in SAP Analysis for Office.
• Solid ABAP development skills (debugging, enhancements, transformations).
• Proven ability to work independently on structured tasks and deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data validation and reconciliation.

Nice‑to-Have

• Functional knowledge of Finance, Logistics, and Materials Management (MM) modules.
• Experience working on S/4HANA migration or conversion projects.
