Job summary

Cloud for Good seeks a Senior Salesforce Consultant (Release Engineer) in India to lead declarative development and configuration for nonprofit and higher education clients. You will work on multiple clouds, design complex solutions, and drive release management while collaborating with global teams.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, 3 Salesforce certs including admin and consulting credentials, and a strong DevOps mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 Salesforce certifications including Salesforce Administrator and at least one consulting certification.
• Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (3+ years preferred; Agile experience preferred).
• Understanding of nonprofit or higher education business processes.
• Strong ability to design and configure complex Salesforce solutions.
• Mastery of declarative tools (Omni Studio, Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Custom Objects/Fields).
• DevOps / Release Management and environment health management.
• Demonstrated release management leadership for Salesforce deployments.

Responsibilities

Senior Salesforce Consultant (Release Engineer) in India

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced technology professional who will be a hands‑on Salesforce configuration and declarative development specialist to work specifically on projects for our Nonprofit or Higher Education clients. This person should be an expert with Salesforce configurations and/or declarative development and have some experience in consultingor with working directly with Nonprofit or Higher Education organizations. They should have a demonstrated ability to configure Salesforce according to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date,accurateknowledge of Nonprofit & Education Clouds
• Build, test, and deploy declarative and/or technical solutions to meet client requirements
• Provide informal mentorship, andfacilitateknowledge-sharing and growth opportunities to less experienced consultants

• Be prepared to work in shifts to accommodate our global customer base across different time zones, including the AMER, APAC, and EMEA.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 (Three) Salesforce certifications including the Salesforce.com administrator certification and at least one consulting certification (certifications in multiple Clouds preferred)
• Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (3+ years of experience preferred; agilemethodologyexperience preferred)
• Understanding of common business processes for nonprofits (major gift processing, moves management, grantmaking) or higher education institutions (executive education program management, student retention, recruitment and admissions, and advancement)
• Demonstrated success in designing and configuring complex solutions
• Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge. Mastery of Declarative tools (Omni Studio (FlexCards&OmniScripts) ,Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Custom Objects/Fields, Security Model)
• DevOps / Release Management
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Overseeing the health and configuration of Salesforce environments (sandboxes, staging, production) to ensure they are properly configured for releases.
• Demonstrable experience in leading the release management process for Salesforce implementations, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments of new features, updates, and bug fixes.
• Strong consulting skills, including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration
• Proventrack recordof continuously improving organizations
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experiencerequired

Preferred Skills

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate release information to stakeholders,facilitatingcollaboration between development, testing, and operations teams.
• Experience in managing releases for large and complex Salesforce implementations.
• Knowledge of data migration and management within Salesforce.
