We are currently seeking a SF – Release Manager with Experience Cloud to join our team in Delhi, Delhi (IN-DL), India (IN).
How You’ll Help Us
As a Release Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the new division of a leading technology provider. You will help deliver outcomes across the Salesforce platform including Sales, Service, Marketing, Vlocity, MuleSoft, Tableau, and more, while supporting technical, business, and consulting growth for clients and a worldwide team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams, service and project managers, and functional release managers to understand demand and prepare landscape and sandbox proposals; lead and coordinate the deployment process.
- Maintain an enterprise release calendar.
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including deployments anytime and extended engagement when required.
- Plan cutovers, oversee deployments, ensure resources are available, and communicate status according to organizational standards.
- Act as subject‑matter expert for the release management tool; train and support team members.
- Mitigate risks during code conflict and merging; ensure quality code deployment and conduct release reviews, deciding on GoLive for business requirements.
- Refresh sandboxes, package and deploy metadata, understand release branching strategies, and resolve merge conflicts.
- Work efficiently with application life‑cycle tools such as Copado, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, Git, Visual Studio, and Ant.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform, including release management, Salesforce Administration, and implementing Salesforce.com solutions.
- 4+ years as a Salesforce Release Manager in an enterprise environment.
- 4+ years of experience with Copado.
- Salesforce.com Admin and Developer Certification.
Preferred Experience – Technical
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Experience managing release processes for business‑on‑board projects and data migrations.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce and metadata.
- Experience with Salesforce release management on an enterprise, multi‑org scale.
- Understanding of source‑control systems (e.g., GitHub) and effective branching/merging strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git source control, VS Code IDEs, and conflict resolution strategies.
- Experience using and following SDLC methodologies—Agile, Scrum, or iterative development.
- Certifications in Agile (CSM, CSP, ACP, Lean, Kanban) or related.
- Salesforce Platform Dev 1 preferred.
Preferred Experience – Non‑Technical
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Ability to coordinate and document evaluation, scope, and completion of updates and new development requests.
- Ability to articulate and manage tasks, dependencies, durations, and risks promptly.
- Ability to build and manage relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
- Experience with requirement definition and management.
- Experience working with Salesforce support teams.
- Collaborative nature and ability to build consensus among multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bridging technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills.
