We are looking for a Senior Robot Virtual Commissioning Engineer to program, simulate, test, and virtually commission industrial robotic manufacturing cells.
The role involves robot programming, PLC/robot integration, safety validation, simulation, virtual factory acceptance testing, cycle-time optimization, and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities
- Program and optimize FANUC, ABB, and/or Kawasaki robots.
- Develop robot motion paths, cell routines, and tool-control logic.
- Integrate robots with PLC, HMI, sensors, and peripheral equipment.
- Configure robot safety functions and safe operating zones.
- Develop and maintain 3D simulation and virtual commissioning models.
- Support software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Execute virtual FAT for automatic, manual, dry-run, and fault scenarios.
- Analyze robot collisions, reachability, and cycle time.
- Support PLC/robot handshakes and industrial communication.
- Prepare simulation models, robot backups, vFAT reports, issue trackers, and technical documentation.
- Guide junior engineers and coordinate with controls, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automation, or related engineering discipline.
- 5-6 years of relevant robotics/automation experience.
- Strong experience with FANUC ROBOGUIDE, ABB RobotStudio, and/or Kawasaki K-Roset.
- Experience with FANUC TP/HandlingTool, ABB RAPID/RobotWare, and/or Kawasaki programming.
- Knowledge of FANUC DCS, ABB SafeMove, or Kawasaki safety systems.
- Experience with virtual commissioning tools such as Process Simulate, MCD, SIMIT, or PLCSIM Advanced.
- Knowledge of PROFINET, PROFIsafe, OPC UA, TCP/IP, and robot-PLC integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial robot safety.
