Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of medical conditions.
Conduct detailed history‑taking, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
Develop and implement appropriate investigation and treatment plans under established hospital protocols.
Manage medical emergencies and participate in emergency response and resuscitation when required.
Monitor patients' clinical progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigation results.
Perform and supervise appropriate bedside procedures within the scope of training and hospital privileges.
Coordinate patient care with consultants, specialists, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct daily ward rounds and ensure timely review of admitted patients.
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other clinical documentation.
Ensure appropriate communication with patients and their attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and clinical progress.
Participate in on‑call and night‑duty responsibilities as per the hospital roster.
Follow infection‑control practices, patient‑safety standards, hospital policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
Guide and supervise junior residents, interns, and other clinical trainees.
Participate in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, case discussions, journal clubs, and academic activities.
Support clinical research and departmental academic activities where applicable.
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification.
Valid medical registration with the applicable medical regulatory authority.
Relevant hospital experience may be preferred depending on institutional requirements
