Job summary

Graphic Era in Dehradun, Uttarakhand invites a qualified General Surgeon to join our clinical team, providing comprehensive surgical care and participating in rounds, lectures, and audits.

Eligibility includes MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution and MCI/NMC registration; fresh graduates or Senior Resident experience are welcomed.

The role is on-site with emphasis on patient safety, documentation, and teaching medical students and junior staff.

Qualifications

• MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or NMC.
• Fresh graduates or Senior Resident in General Surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Perform and assist in routine and emergency surgical procedures.
• Participate in ward rounds, case presentations, and academic discussions.
• Manage OPD clinics and attend emergency calls as per duty schedule.
• Supervise and guide junior residents, interns, and medical students.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient care and medical records.
• Assist in surgical audits, morbidity & mortality meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in research, clinical audits, and publication of case studies or papers.
• Maintain adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety guidelines.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient care and maintenance of medical records.
  
• Assist in surgical audits, morbidity & mortality meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  
• Participate in research, clinical audits, and publication of case studies or papers.
  
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety guidelines.
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
  
• Registration: Must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI/NMC) or relevant State Medical Council.
  
• Experience: Fresh graduates or those with prior experience as a Senior Resident in General Surgery preferred.
