A Senior Resident - ER Anaesthesiology is responsible for providing anaesthesia-related clinical support and managing patients requiring airway management, procedural sedation, perioperative care, and emergency anaesthetic interventions. The includes pre-anaesthesia assessment, patient monitoring, assistance with emergency procedures, management of anaesthesia-related complications, and coordination with emergency physicians, surgeons, and critical-care teams.

• Assess patients requiring anaesthesia support for emergency and urgent procedures.
• Review medical history, clinical findings, investigations, and anaesthesia-related risks.
• Conduct pre-anaesthesia evaluations under the supervision of the responsible consultant.
• Develop appropriate anaesthesia plans based on patient condition and procedure requirements.
• Assist with anaesthesia administration and airway management within authorized scope.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during procedures.
• Support emergency airway management and resuscitation activities.
• Assist with procedural sedation and emergency interventions according to approved protocols.
• Identify and manage anaesthesia-related complications promptly.
• Provide appropriate postoperative and post-procedure monitoring.
