Job description

Role: Senior Research Scientist - Biomaterials

Job Requirements

• Conduct research on biomaterials targeted for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications and generate protocols for the same
• Perform extensive physical, biological & chemical characterization for biopolymeric products. Innovate, conceptualize, plan, execute, analyse data and troubleshoot experiments
• Active participation in interdisciplinary research with colleagues and collaborators. Project or team management experience will be considered as a plus.
• Strong evidence of writing scientific documents like manuscript, patent, grant proposals, etc in the relevant research field and presentations in public platforms.
• Proactive external communications with vendors, suppliers for resources and instruments procurement, CROs for specialized services for pre-clinical studies.
• Expertise in more than one polymeric scaffold fabrication techniques, including (but not limiting) in-situ crosslinking and 3D bioprinting, preferably for generating complex structures.

Required Qualification And Experience

• PhD in material science, biotechnology, polymer science, life science or related field with relevant industry or post-doctoral research experience a minimum of 5 years for SRS.
