Position

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Opportunity in a Multidisciplinary DBT-Funded Research Project: Applications are invited from suitable and interested candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (one position) in the DBT funded Project titled “Engineering a Bispecific T-cell Engager (BiTE) for combined immunotherapy with hCG-targeting immunotoxin in advanced-stage cancers“. The position is purely temporary and will co-terminate with Project. Motivated students may also register for a Ph.D. program, subject to fulfilling the admission requirements of the respective university. The project involves translational research in the field of cancer immunotherapy.

Candidate Training and Experience

Candidates are expected to have training and/or experience in areas such as:

• Molecular biology
• Recombinant protein expression (bacterial and mammalian systems)
• Protein purification and characterization
• Cell culture techniques
• Immunological assays, etc.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Candidate should hold an M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology or any closely related field of Life Sciences and fulfil the eligibility criteria as per DST guidelines (DST Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). SRF position requires minimum 2 years’ experience post M.Sc/M.Tech.

Emoluments

As per the DBT guidelines (Rs. 42,000 + 27% HRA per month).
