Job description

Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Indian Citizens)for one position of Project Associate I in the ANRF-funded project titled,“Exploration the Functional significance of Mucin 20 and Gut Microbiota inColorectal Cancer and their impact on therapy Resistance” of Dr. Ramesh Pothuraju,Scientist C at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala.

EssentialQualifications
  • Good Academic record with First-class in Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences from a recognized University and a consistent excellent academic track record.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Proven experience in human cancer cell culture and molecular biology techniques (supported by a certificate). Experience in mice handling is also required.
Age

28 years as on 20 th August 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.

Emolument
Duration

Initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and extendable based on the performance evaluation.

Selection Process
  • Last date for receiving completed applications is 20 th August 2026.
  • Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As withall project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminuswith end of the project.
