Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant research experience across multiple sectors.
• Must hold NISM-Series XXI B certification.
• NlCA candidates are preferred for this category.
• Freshers with CA or CFA certification can also apply.

Responsibilities

• Investigation and analysis across equities, mutual funds, bonds, and other investment products.
• Evaluate financial statements, industry reports, and economic indicators to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with in-house Fund Manager on company-specific, peer-comparative, and sectoral research to strengthen portfolio strategies.
• Manage data repositories by updating NAVs and maintaining weekly/monthly fund factsheets.
• Build relationships with external Fund Managers to stay updated on product developments.
• Formulate data-backed investment recommendations for equity and debt securities.
• Present research findings to portfolio managers and leadership to support decisions.
• Contribute to quarterly Mutual Fund research initiatives and cross-department collaboration.
• Monitor global and regional macro-economic trends and regulatory developments.
• Analyze market movements to guide portfolio performance and positioning.
• Develop forward-looking perspectives for asset allocation and client strategy.
• Develop and refine asset allocation strategies for diverse client risk profiles.
• Accompany leadership to client meetings to present insights and answer questions.
• Create high-quality presentations and reports to enhance client understanding.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Research Analyst to drive investment strategies through rigorous data analysis and market research. You will play a pivotal role in steering daily activities across four key pillars: Research, Investment Recommendations, Market Trends, and Client Strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Investment Research & Data Management

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis across equities, mutual funds, bonds, and other investment products.
• Evaluate financial statements, industry reports, and economic indicators to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with the in-house Fund Manager on company-specific, peer-comparative, and sectoral research to strengthen portfolio strategies.
• Manage data repositories by regularly updating Net Asset Values (NAVs) and maintaining weekly/monthly fund factsheets.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with external Fund Managers (MFs and PMS) to stay updated on product developments.

2. Investment Recommendations & Reporting

• Formulate well-structured, data-backed investment recommendations for equity and debt securities.
• Present research findings and recommendations to portfolio managers and senior leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Contribute to quarterly Mutual Fund research initiatives and enhanced inter-departmental collaboration.

3. Macro-Economic Analysis

• Monitor global and regional macro-economic trends, policy updates, and regulatory developments.
• Analyze the potential impact of market movements on portfolio performance.
• Develop forward-looking perspectives to guide strategic investment positioning.

4. Client Engagement & Asset Strategy

• Develop and refine asset allocation strategies tailored to diverse client risk profiles and financial goals.
• Accompany business heads to high-level client meetings to present investment insights and address technical queries.
• Create high-quality presentations and reports to enhance client understanding and engagement.

Requirements
