Job summary

Niva Bupa is seeking a branch-focused sales professional in Tamil Nadu to drive health insurance sales across customer segments and maintain strong relationships within the bank channel. The role requires coordinating with the TPD sales force, generating leads, and ensuring timely follow-ups and referrals.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in life or general insurance sales, strong communication skills, and a graduate degree.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in banking/insurance sales or bancassurance.
• Strong relationship management and customer service focus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual branch sales targets across customer segments and health insurance products.
• Maintain cordial relationships across branch staff; resolve escalations within defined TATs.
• Support TPD sales force with joint calls, lead generation, and timely follow-ups.
• Update branch manager with referrals and records from all branch constituents.
• Provide product training to the branch sales force and ensure weekly/monthly activity activation.
• Drive productivity by advising health insurance solutions and measuring penetration with RM and client base.
• Promote NBHI lead management system and branch awareness programs to bundle health insurance propositions.

Key Roles Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned annual target of the branch by driving sales across all customer segments- Business mix in terms of blended premium no. of cases.
• Maintain cordial relationship across all ranks and files of the branch and resolve escalations with in TATs.
• Support TPD sales force in terms of various activities like
  • Joint sales calls to generate leads
  • Adhere to the TATs on first customer contact follow ups from the date the lead is being registered
• Update branch manager on accurate records of referrals received from all constituents of the branch
• Service branch customers for any query.
• Regular product training / refresher to the sales force of the branch
• Ensure activation of TPD sales force on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
• Drive productivity by right advising of health insurance solutions
• Measure penetration across relationship manager, client base / branch base
• Update NBHI lead management system Engage in branch customer awareness program and explore every possible opportunity to bundle the health insurance proposition
• Create mindshare across branch leadership team
• Drive effectively the Reward and recognition programs launched for the bank staff
