Job summary

Niva Bupa in Chennai seeks a results-driven sales professional to drive branch targets across all customer segments and to enhance cross-sell of health insurance products. You will support TPD sales in joint calls, manage referrals, and provide timely issue resolution while training the branch team.

The role emphasizes relationship management, strong communication, and the ability to influence banking partners. Prior experience in life/general insurance is helpful for Bancassurance growth.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch annual sales targets by driving sales across customer segments.
• Maintain cordial relationships and resolve escalations within TATs.
• Support TPD sales force with joint calls and timely follow-ups.
• Update branch manager on referrals and maintain accurate records.
• Serve branch customers for queries and provide product training to sales staff.
• Ensure activation of the sales force on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Drive productivity by advising health insurance solutions.
• Measure penetration across relationships and client bases.
• Promote mindshare and participate in branch activities to bundle propositions.

Key Roles Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned annual target of the branch by driving sales across all customer segments- Business mix in terms of blended premium no. of cases.
• Maintain cordial relationship across all ranks and files of the branch and resolve escalations with in TATs.
• Support TPD sales force in terms of various activities like
  • Joint sales calls to generate leads
  • Adhere to the TATs on first customer contact follow ups from the date the lead is being registered
• Update branch manager on accurate records of referrals received from all constituents of the branch
• Service branch customers for any query.
• Regular product training / refresher to the sales force of the branch
• Ensure activation of TPD sales force on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
• Drive productivity by right advising of health insurance solutions
• Measure penetration across relationship manager, client base / branch base
• Update NBHI lead management system Engage in branch customer awareness program and explore every possible opportunity to bundle the health insurance proposition
• Create mindshare across branch leadership team
• Drive effectively the Reward and recognition programs launched for the bank staff

• Minimum Experience of 2 - 4 Years of experience, preferably in Life Insurance/ General Insurance (Bancassurance only)/ Relationship Management/ Investment Wealth Advisory (Banks) Has demonstrated capabilities of managing Affluent/HNI Customers in the previous roles
