Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a Senior Recruiter based in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, Malaysia. The role focuses on end-to-end recruitment for Direct Labour and Indirect Labour within a hybrid onsite model.

You will source, engage, and place candidates while partnering with hiring managers globally. The ideal candidate demonstrates extensive RPO or internal recruiting experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and solid MS Office and ATS proficiency to drive sourcing

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar field, RPO or internal with a global organisation.
• Prior experience in hiring for Direct Labour (DL) & Indirect Labour (IDL) roles in Malaysia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, IT Literate with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the recruitment life-cycle for key business areas with direct sourcing and diversity.
• Discuss relevant recruitment strategies with hiring managers and develop strategies for successful output.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder and hiring manager relationships.
• Utilise direct sourcing tools to ensure quality candidate pipeline and build talent pools.
• Promote recruitment best practices and meet service delivery targets.
• Provide market condition insights, salary benchmarks, and candidate availability to Hiring Managers.
• Maintain key metrics and ensure data integrity in reporting.

Position Summary

We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity available to be part of the Korn Ferry RPO team! Our client, a global leader in Semiconductor Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Recruiter to be based in Batu Kawan Industrial Park to work onsite (hybrid). As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process whilst being a subject matter expert around applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing methodologies and recruitment process effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the recruitment life-cycle for a number of key and high-profile business areas, with a strong focus on direct sourcing and diversity
• Discuss relevant recruitment strategies with hiring managers and be involved in creating various strategies to ensure maximum successful output
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder and hiring manager relationships
• Utilise all available direct sourcing tools to ensure a quality candidate pipeline and actively source candidates and build candidate talent pools
• Be a 'recruitment best practice' champion into the business and support and deliver on the overall service delivery targets
• Provide information to Hiring Managers regarding market conditions, candidate availability, salary benchmarks
• Maintain critical metrics and provide the highest data integrity within reporting

Professional Experience

• Extensive experience in a similar field, RPO or internal with a global organisation
• Prior experience in hiring for Direct Labour (DL) & Indirect Labour (IDL) roles in Malaysia
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, IT Literate with MS Office suite
• Ability to interpret reporting data and advise on solutions for process innovation and high-performance working
• Experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include market mapping, recruitment strategies and Boolean searches as well as working with an ATS
• Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and show flexibility in a fast-moving environment
• Shown team working capability, stakeholder management and networking skills
• Ability to be involved in a wide range of talent acquisition projects
