Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Digital Experience & Automation team seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to automate tests for web applications and APIs. You will design, develop and maintain automation scripts, review requirements, and drive testing processes across agile teams.

Onsite from Bengaluru with a focus on AI-driven tools and modern platforms. The role emphasizes strong QA methodologies, experience with Selenium/SoapUI, and hands-on automated testing with Python and PyCharm, along with SQL

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of testing experience with minimum 3+ years in Automation.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, SoapUI, Python and PyCharm.
• Proven QA experience in software development and software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience with both white-box and black-box testing.

What You’ll Do

• Automation of features for web applications and Web APIs
• Familiarity with testing and testing life cycle.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open‑source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non‑conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Stay up‑to‑date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Knowledge on Docker and containers

Whar You Need to Bring

• Should have9 to 12years of experience in testing and Minimum 3+ years in Automation.
• Must have experience with automated testing tools likeSelenium,SoapUI, Python and must have knowledge on Pycharm.
• Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of softwareQAmethodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands‑on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline. Master’s desirable. Typically, 9+ years experience.
