Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a detail-oriented Bi-lingual Functional Tester (Spanish) to join our Quality Engineering and Testing team. The ideal candidate will work with global stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery across multilingual environments.

The role requires 2+ years in functional testing, fluency in Spanish and English, and hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools.

Qualifications

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• 2+ years of experience in Functional Testing, preferably in bilingual or multilingual project environments.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in creating and executing manual test cases.
• Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA and ALM/HP Quality Center.
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Preferred Skills: multilingual content validation and localization testing, UAT support and end-to-end business process validation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Perform bilingual validation of application content, workflows, and user interfaces in Spanish and English.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and defect triage meetings.
• Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with multiple testing teams and stakeholders across geographies to support successful project delivery.
