Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver, and to implement API automation with Rest Assured in our global delivery teams.

You will create end-to-end test scenarios for web and API apps, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git, and collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to shape test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• API testing expertise using Rest Assured.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/REST, JSON/XML, and web services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and Git.
• SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
