Qualifications

• 8–10 years in a software engineering team with 5+ years in QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a QA team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet project deadlines.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans covering all functional areas of testing.
• Set up required test beds, including hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Execute assigned test cases (manual and/or automated) to validate software releases.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Leverage AI for efficient test planning and complete automation of testing.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using appropriate bug tracking tools.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in driving software quality, leading testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.

Skills and Experience:

• 8-10 years in a Software Engineering team, with 5+ years in a Quality Assurance role.
• 5+ years of experience testing software applications across various platforms.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing techniques.
• Proficiency in automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestComplete, Protractor, Appium, Cucumber.
• Experience testing APIs for functionality and performance, using tools like Postman
• Strong knowledge of SQL, scripting, and data analysis.
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence-based tools and frameworks for test planning and automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies/tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of DevOps/MLOps practices is desirable.
• Experience with test-driven and behavior-driven development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
