OwlSure, a ValueMomentum business unit, seeks a Sr. QA Engineer to build and enhance enterprise automation for Guidewire ecosystems. You will design UI/API tests, implement reusable Java/Selenium components, and validate PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter across complex integrations.

You will work with Analysts, Developers, and QA to identify automation opportunities, drive best practices, and contribute to continuous quality improvements within an Agile/SAFe framework.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on test automation in enterprise environments.
• 2-3+ years Guidewire testing experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter or integrations.
• Strong automation development using Java and Selenium.
• Experience building API test automation with RestAssured.
• Experience implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Solid automation framework architecture and reusable components.
• Experience testing REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integrations.
• Strong SQL skills for backend validation and data integrity.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect/test management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Insurance Technology | Guidewire Platform | Test Automation

What You'll Do

• Build, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade automation frameworks for Guidewire applications and integrated insurance ecosystems.
• Design and develop automated test solutions for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end business workflows.
• Create scalable and reusable automation components using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, BDD frameworks, and related technologies.
• Develop and execute automated validation for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and downstream integrations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
• Perform API and integration testing across complex insurance platforms and third-party systems.
• Drive shift-left testing practices and automation-first quality initiatives throughout SDLC.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates for application releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the QA organization.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on test automation experience in enterprise environments.
• 2-3+ years of recent Guidewire testing experience, including strong understanding of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or Guidewire integrations.
• Strong automation development experience using Java and Selenium.
• Proven experience developing API automation frameworks using RestAssured or similar tools.
• Experience implementing and maintaining BDD frameworks using tools such as Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of automation framework architecture, reusable component design, and automation best practices.
• Experience testing REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, and system integrations.
• Solid SQL skills for backend validation, data integrity testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery environments.
• Familiarity with defect management and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Strong Pluses

• Guidewire certifications or formal Guidewire training. Based on Chaitali Pabitwar's background, Guidewire application expertise across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter and integrations is particularly valuable.
• Experience automating end-to-end insurance business workflows across multiple Lines of Business.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
• Experience with AccelQ or other low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Exposure to insurance policy, billing, and claims administration systems.
• Experience with AWS-based applications and cloud-native testing.
• CI/CD implementation experience using modern DevOps toolchains.
• Performance testing knowledge using JMeter or similar tools.
• Experience validating complex third-party integrations and service-oriented architectures.
