Job summary

Optum is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust automation frameworks for our testing needs. You will collaborate with agile teams and project managers to track milestones, report testing progress, and mitigate risks.

The role involves creating and maintaining test scripts, strategies, and documentation across web-based applications, with a strong emphasis on Selenium, Jenkins, and UFT.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining test strategy, plan, scenarios, test cases and test summaries.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and automation framework design, execution and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of testing web-based applications and SDLC quality standards.
• Ability to understand and design automation frameworks and translate business requirements into test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Test Automation frameworks for test infrastructure and automation expertise for agile teams.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to track and report testing milestones and notify management of risks.
• Provide project status reports with regression testing metrics and maintain related documents.
• Develop overall test strategy, estimates and plan testing for each application/project based on timelines.
• Ensure alignment with policy and employment directives as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement Test Automation frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our agile teams
• Work with Project Managers to track and report testing milestones Notify Management of project related risks associated with automated testing impacts and delays
• Provide project status reports with supporting regression testing metrics on a regular basis
• Assist with creating and maintaining manual and automation support documents surrounding standards policies procedures and metrics
• Develop overall test strategy test estimates and plan the testing effort and strategy required for each application project based on the development approach and timeline
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Experience of Developing , implementing and maintaining Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios , Test Cases and Test Summary documentation
• Experience in Manual Testing and Automation Framework Designing Executing and maintaining automated test scripts using automation tool Selenium, exposure to Jenkins and Other automation environments
• In depth knowledge of testing Web based applications, Familiarity with SDLC quality standards and test methodologies
• Good understanding with Test/Data/process Driven framework
• Good in understanding business requirements and convert them into Test Script
• Ability to understand and design Automation Framework
• Ability to understand and scope requirements and prepare test scenarios test conditions and test cases
• Proven comfortable with REST API''s and Jenkins pipeline
• Proven expert with automation tool and languages like working into Selenium and UFT
