Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Test Engineer with Dynamics CRM focus in Bengaluru. You will own end-to-end QA, test planning, design, automation, and defect management, collaborating with BAs, Developers, and SMEs to ensure quality across CRM modules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA, API testing experience, and familiarity with REST, Swagger, and Protractor. A strong English speaker in an Agile setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience in both functional and system testing.
• Experience testing APIs (REST API, JSON, XML).
• Experience with REST API (Swagger, Rest Assured).
• Experience in an agile development cycle.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, automate test cases, and present test strategies for team review.

• Publish test reports and participate in Go/No-Go decisions.
• Ensure effective communication of testing status to Dev and QA teams.
• Execute other quality assurance tasks as requested.
• Design and development experience in Java, Spring, Angular, and MVC.
• Mentor junior-level development associates and share best practices.
• Perform code reviews and automation strategy alignment.
• Collaborate with Development to review new feature designs and validate test specs.
• Identify defects and own them through resolution and verification cycles.
• Experience with Protractor and Big data technologies adds value.

Job Overview

Milestone Technologies is looking for a Senior Software Development Test Engineer who is highly motivated, flexible, and experienced in IT projects mainly exposure on Dynamics CRM. The candidate will be responsible for owning end-to-end quality assurance activities, including test planning, test case design, functional and integration testing, defect management, regression testing, UAT support, and automation. The role requires close collaboration with Business Analysts, Developers, Dynamics 365 Functional Consultants, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.

Experience testing Dynamics CRM business processes, configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, Power Platform components, and APIs will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Development to review new feature designs and validate test specifications to ensure they are comprehensively tested and meet customer expectations
• Identify defects and own them through the resolution and verification cycle
• Working on Protractor and Big data technologies added advantage

Perform end-to-end functional testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM applications.

Perform regression testing following Dynamics 365 configuration changes, customizations, and platform updates.

Validate end-to-end business processes across multiple Dynamics 365 modules.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Programming, or equivalent education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Experience creating/updating/reviewing/executing automated and Manual tests
• Experience in both functional testing and system testing
• Experience testing APIs (familiarity with REST API, JSON, XML)
• Experience working with REST API (Swagger, Rest Assured)
• Experience of working in an agile development cycle
• Experience with JIRA, and Confluence

• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes
