Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior QA Test Engineer (Manual/Automation) in Bangalore with 7 to 12 years of experience. You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Change Requests, and perform functional, integration, and regression testing to safeguard quality.

You will collaborate with Development, BA, and UAT teams, supporting production issue resolution and testing lifecycle. The role emphasizes test planning, defect verification, and continuous quality improvements across SIT/UAT

It's banking platform delivery and managed services organization responsible for delivering and supporting core banking and digital banking solutions.

What he will be doing :

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Change Requests to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing( Automation) to maintain system stability, reliability, and product quality.
• Validate defect fixes through detailed retesting and verification, ensuring timely resolution and minimal production impact.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Business Analysis, and UAT teams to support test execution, defect triage, and issue resolution.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to facilitate file processing, investigate issues, troubleshoot production-related concerns, and provide operational support throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Contribute to test planning, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and delivery efficiency.

• Strong understanding of business requirements, application functionality, and end-to-end business processes.
• Ability to analyze Change Requests, identify test conditions, and design effective test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, Jira, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools, with the ability to identify automation opportunities considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to the successful delivery of SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities.
