Job summary

Experian in Hyderabad is seeking a QA Engineer focused on automation to ensure product quality across regions. You will report to the Engineering Manager, collaborate with development and QA teams, and implement test automation using TOSCA, Playwright and Postman.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, writing and executing test cases, defect tracking, and reporting quality metrics. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with QA standards and processes, including SQL

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (TOSCA, Playwright, Jenkins).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL databases and multi-language computing environments (Python, SQL).
• Experience in software test strategy, test case writing, execution and analysis.
• Understanding of QA principles and testing processes.
• Ability to review specifications and provide estimations.
• Create detailed test scenarios, plans, cases, and estimates; prioritize testing activities.

As you are a QA Engineer, it is important to focus on quality control and assurance to give business confidence that the product meets the requirements. You will report to the Engineering Manager. You will collaborate with the development team and your department across the region and globe. It is also important to have and to meet quality and performance standards.

• Perform build verification testing, regression testing and feature testing.
• Create reusable test data. Maintain suite of regression tests.
• Analyse, develops, codes automation scripts for regression testing.
• Document test results and produce status reports related to testing.
• Identify and report quality assurance and testing issues and defects.
• Convert requirements and design documents into test cases and scripts, prepare test data and implement tests using Zephyr.
• Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
• Provide assurance that systems conform to requirements and follow their established plans.
• Document the quality testing process, describes the program, evaluation, methods of testing and improvements made to systems.
• Identify potential defects, root cause analysis, suggest options and recommend approaches.

Requirements
