Job summary

Conversive (SMS Magic) is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to ensure high-quality software across product lines. You will drive end-to-end quality assurance, combining manual and automated testing, and apply AI-driven testing techniques to improve release quality.

You will design automation frameworks, mentor junior QA engineers, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to foster a quality-first culture. Strong expertise in AI-enabled testing and CI/CD integration is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong software QA and testing methodologies experience.
• Hands-on expertise in automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience in API testing and backend validation.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis abilities.
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with AI tools for testing and development (OpenAI, Copilot).
• Ability to design test strategies, cases, and scenarios.
• Collaborative with Product, Engineering, DevOps teams; mentorship of juniors.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies (functional, integration, regression, performance).
• Review product requirements and designs to ensure coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects across the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain test documentation (plans, cases, scenarios).
• Design and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Increase automation coverage for UI, APIs, and integration workflows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD for continuous testing.
• Promote shift-left testing with developers.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation and analysis.
• Implement AI-assisted automation and self-healing scripts.
• Support sprint planning and release planning with QA insights.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality mindset.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of products at Conversive (SMS Magic). In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance across product lines, leveraging both manual and automation testing approaches, along with AI-driven testing techniques.

You will design and implement automation frameworks, enhance test coverage, and work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to improve release quality. This role also involves mentoring junior team members and driving a quality-first culture across the organization.

What will qualify you for this role?

• Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies
• Hands-on expertise in automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience in API testing and backend validation
• Strong debugging skills and root cause analysis capabilities
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum development environments
• Experience working with AI tools for testing and development (e.g., OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Claude)
• Ability to design test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios
• Strong collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams
• Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and guide interns

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with Salesforce testing
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows
• Exposure to Docker, AWS, or cloud-based environments
• Experience working with logs, monitoring tools, and production debugging
• Understanding of AI-assisted test generation, self-healing scripts, and intelligent automation

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Review product requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to ensure test coverage and quality
• Identify, document, and track defects across the lifecycle ensuring minimal production leakage
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and scenarios
• Design, build, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts
• Increase automation coverage across UI, APIs, and integration workflows
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Collaborate with developers to enable shift-left testing practices
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, failure prediction, and log analysis
• Implement AI-assisted automation and self-healing test scripts
• Explore AI use cases such as intelligent test generation, automated defect analysis, and anomaly detection
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
• Provide insights to improve testing processes, quality metrics, and release efficiency
• Contribute to QA best practices, frameworks, and documentation
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a quality-first mindset across teams
