Job summary

Amantya Technologies in Delhi is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead testing efforts for web and mobile apps. You will design test strategies and plans, and mentor junior testers to ensure high quality from the start.

The role requires strong automation experience with Selenium, Appium, and JMeter, plus hands-on work with JIRA/HP ALM, CI/CD, and Agile practices to deliver reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of QA/testing experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and executing test plans and cases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• ISTQB/CSTE certification would be advantageous.

Title: Senior QA Engineer

Location: Delhi

Experience: 5 yrs to 9yrs

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JMeter.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Ability to identify, isolate, and track bugs systematically

Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) would be an advantage.

• Experience in testing web applications, mobile apps, and/or cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with security testing and knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report and document test results
