Job summary

JES, an engineering and construction group, builds its own software in-house with AI at the center. We seek a QA Engineer to own manual and automation testing, using Java or Python and Selenium/Playwright, in Hyderabad.

You will design test cases, execute them, report bugs, and collaborate with developers and product teams. Responsibilities include functional, regression, and integration testing, maintaining automation scripts, supporting UAT and release testing, and leveraging AI testing tools

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of QA experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong test case design, execution and bug reporting.
• Proficient in Java or Python.
• Experience with API testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs.
• Coordinate with Developers and Product teams for issue resolution.
• Support UAT and release testing.
• Using AI tools Such As Claude, Gemini for Testing.

JES is an engineering and construction group that builds its own software in-house, with AI at the center of how we develop it. We run an AI-assisted development process: a person defines what to build, our pipeline and AI do the heavy lifting of writing the code, and an operator runs the process and makes sure the result is correct.

Experience:

2-5 years

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Manual Testing
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Programming knowledge in Java or Python
• Experience with Selenium or Playwright
• Good understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Experience in test case creation, execution, bug reporting, and regression testing
• Familiarity with API testing is an added advantage
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
