Job summary

Geektrust in Bengaluru seeks a senior backend engineer with 9–12+ years of Python experience to design secure, scalable APIs and services. You will focus on performance, reliability, and fault tolerance while shaping core architecture.

You will lead integration of LLM/GenAI capabilities into production applications, build robust event-driven systems with Kafka and microservices, and mentor engineers across Product, Data, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions.

• 9–12+ years of experience in Python backend development, with strong hands‑on expertise in building scalable applications.
• Strong experience with Kafka, Microservices, REST APIs, FastAPI, and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience integrating LLMs/GenAI into production applications, including agentic workflows and AI-driven automation.
• Strong understanding of system design, automated testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and data pipelines/ETL frameworks such as Airflow; cloud experience is a plus.
