Job summary

TVS Next is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a Scrum team in Chennai. You will drive automation across API, UI, and integration tests, and own CI/CD integration to ensure rapid feedback and quality releases.

You’ll design and build testing frameworks from scratch, collaborating with engineering and product teams to embed quality from inception and throughout the development lifecycle. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience in QA automation or QA engineering.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and regression testing.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with API automation, Selenium, Python, Pytest, etc.
• Experience with version controls and repositories (Git/CircleCI).
• Experience with integration of automated tests with CI/CD pipeline within release management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience creating testing frameworks from scratch.
• Experience in SQL is a plus.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for testable and functional software designs to enable quality design principles.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to drive innovation and ensure highest product quality.

Job description
