Vanel Tech India Pvt. Ltd. in Rajkot seeks a Senior Python & ERP Engineer (Odoo + AI Automation) to own our core business infra, connect e-commerce data streams, and build autonomous AI-driven agents.

You will lead Odoo module customization, API integrations (REST/GraphQL), and data pipelines, while collaborating with international management to translate market priorities into automated code, ensuring a scalable PostgreSQL backbone.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years backend development with Python & PostgreSQL.
• Deep practical knowledge of the Odoo framework (custom modules, ORM, API connectors).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong English communication with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, customize, and maintain core Odoo modules (CRM, Sales, Inventory, Quoting).
• Build automated AI agents and data pipelines (LangGraph / LangChain / LLM APIs) for lead enrichment, market research, and automated workflow triggers.
• Build and maintain robust API integrations between our external platforms (including Magento 2 endpoints) and Odoo.
• Ensure rock-solid PostgreSQL database design, data consistency, and webhook reliability.

About the Role

We are an established international industrial enterprise expanding our operational and tech presence in Rajkot. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Python / ERP Engineer to take direct ownership of our core business infrastructure and build next-generation automation.

You will lead the development and integration of our Odoo ERP, connect our external e-commerce data streams (REST/GraphQL APIs), and build autonomous AI-driven agents (AI SDR, automated quoting, and market intelligence pipelines).

This is a permanent, stable salaried position within a globally operating company, offering direct leadership exposure, autonomy, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, customize, and maintain core Odoo modules (CRM, Sales, Inventory, Quoting).
• Build automated AI agents and data pipelines (LangGraph / LangChain / LLM APIs) for lead enrichment, market research, and automated workflow triggers.
• Build and maintain robust API integrations between our external platforms (including Magento 2 product/order endpoints) and Odoo.
• Ensure rock-solid PostgreSQL database design, data consistency, and webhook reliability.
• Work directly with international management to translate commercial priorities into automated code.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of backend development experience with Python and PostgreSQL.
• Deep practical knowledge of the Odoo framework (custom module design, ORM, API connectors).
• Proven hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs (integrating third-party e-commerce or external tools).
• Strong interest or practical experience with LLM orchestration (OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, web scraping tools like Firecrawl/Tavily).
• Good command of written and spoken English for direct collaboration with international teams.

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Experience interacting with Magento 2 APIs or enterprise e-commerce backend structures.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux server management.
