Job summary

Cyrix Health Care seeks a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing of materials, equipment, and services, negotiating with vendors for the best pricing and delivery terms.

You will prepare purchase orders, monitor timely deliveries, and maintain records while coordinating with cross-functional teams to forecast purchasing needs. Strong vendor management, Excel/ERP skills, and healthcare procurement knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6 years of experience in procurement, purchase, or supply chain functions.
• Candidates with Biomedical Engineering experience in procurement or medical equipment purchasing will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services based on organizational requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and pricing information.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and forecast purchasing needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and stores to avoid stock shortages.
• Resolve issues related to supplier performance, quality, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and savings reports for management.
