Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Protection Engineer with a strong background in protection principles, relay coordination, substation automation and 5+ years of relevant project experience. You will coordinate the creation of control, protection, metering, automation and monitoring system designs in line with TES-P-107, TES-P-108 and TES-P-119, and guide junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with TAQA and SE HV & EHV substation projects.
• Strong background in protection principles and relay coordination.
• Experience in preparing design drawings and calculation reports per TES standards TES-P-107, TES-P-108 & TES-P-119.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver substation protection, metering and automation system designs in compliance with SEC, NG and other relevant authority standards and approval processes.
• Prepare and contribute to technical reports, specifications, tender documents, and proposals for substation and distribution projects.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership, support knowledge sharing within the team, and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Job description

The Senior Protection Engineer requires strong background in protection principles, relay coordination, substation automation, and with 5+ years of relevant experience with TAQA and SE HV & EHV substation projects. The responsibilities include preparation of Control, Protection, Metering, Automation and Monitoring systems design drawings and calculation reports in accordance with TES-P-107, TES-P-108 & TES-P-119. The role requires technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
