Job summary

Umanist NA in India seeks an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead administrative, technical, and project engineering activities for large-scale US construction projects in Gurgaon and Jaipur.

This high-ownership role involves project coordination, team leadership, client communication, quality management, handling change orders and submittals, and ensuring delivery while aligning with US construction practices and VDC/project engineering.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years total experience with 5+ years in construction PM.
• 2–3+ years BIM & Revit for construction docs and coordination.
• Engineering Graduate / B.Arch / MS in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience in at least 2 of: Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Quantity Take-Offs, Estimation, Project Coordination.
• 4–5+ years of team handling / supervisory experience.
• Hands-on with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Procore & MS Office.
• Strong communication with US-based teams.
• Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage project activities including submittals, RFIs, change orders, project coordination, and project engineering.
• Lead, supervise, train, and develop project engineering teams.
• Coordinate project meetings and ensure smooth communication across teams.
• Track project priorities, deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.

About The Role

Mandatory Requirements

• 8–14 years of overall experience with 5+ years in Construction Project Management.
• 2–3+ years of BIM & Revit experience, including construction documentation and project coordination.
• Engineering Graduate / B.Arch / MS in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience in at least 2 of the following:
• Submittals
• RFIs
• Change Orders
• Quantity Take-Offs
• Estimation
• Project Coordination
• 4–5+ years of team handling / supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Procore & MS Office.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with US-based teams.
• Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through completion.

Preferred Experience

• US construction project experience is highly preferred.
• Other international construction experience may also be considered.
• Building / Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Infrastructure construction experience may be considered.
• Experience with VDC/project engineering is an advantage.

Plant / Industrial construction experience will not be considered.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project delivery skills.

Stable career history is preferred: candidates should ideally have spent at least 1.5 years with each organization.

Designation: The final designation (Project Manager / Senior Project Manager) will be decided based on the candidate's overall experience and interview performance.
