Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks an experienced Risk Management lead to oversee end-to-end IFRS9/IndAS109 solutions and risk modeling initiatives in India, with strong communication skills in English. You will guide teams, manage several implementation projects, and engage CXO-level stakeholders to ensure client success.

Applicants should have 8+ years of experience, relevant certifications, and proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and Python, with SDLC understanding.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in risk management delivery/implementation.

• Familiarity with risk modeling concepts (PD, LGD, EAD) and MRM is a plus.

Highlight of the engagement opportunity:

• Nature of Role: Full-time.


• Experience Required: 8+ years.


• Preferred Experience: Implementation and delivery of Risk Management solutions, including OFSAA, SAS, Moodys, and similar platforms with expertise in IFRS 9 (ECL, EIR, PD, LGD, Credit Risk Modeling) and Model Risk Management.


• Educational Qualification: B.Tech, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications.


• Preferred Certifications: FRM, CFA, or equivalent risk and finance certifications.


• Preferred Geographic Experience: India, Middle East, or APAC markets.


• Language Requirement: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.


• Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and Python, with a good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

Key responsibility areas:

• End-to-end implementation experience in IFRS9 / IndAS109 solutions covering ECL & EIR.


• Strong understanding of ECL, EIR, PD, LGD, and EAD.


• Hands-on experience in risk modeling and implementation.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 members.


• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.


• Engage with stakeholders at CXO & CXO-1 levels.


• Drive project delivery and client success.


• Support pre-sales activities including proposals, solution demos, and presentations.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Experience with IFRS16 and Model Risk Management (MRM) solutions.

• Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India.


• Period of engagement: Full-time position.


• Probation period: 6 months.


• Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
