Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 8–12 years of experience to lead Azure native firewall security projects. You will drive cross-functional teams, define scope, and deliver secure solutions on time and within budget in a hybrid work environment.

You will bring deep expertise in Azure security, VPNs, Tunnels, and Threat Detection, plus PMP certification and Agile experience.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of project management experience in security/Azure domains.
• Proven track record delivering security solutions on time and within budget.
• PMP certification and experience with Agile methods are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Azure security projects ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, goals and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resources.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure successful completion.
• Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring security compliance.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications and status reporting.
• Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Azure Native Firewall Security, VPN, Tunnels, Network, and Threat Detection. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the successful delivery of security solutions that meet organizational needs.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage multiple projects focused on Azure security solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Extensive experience with Azure Native Firewall Security and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of VPN, Tunnels, and Network security protocols.
• Proven experience in threat detection and response strategies.
• Excellent project management skills, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
• The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing security projects, a deep understanding of Azure technologies, and a commitment to excellence.
• You will be a proactive leader, capable of driving projects to successful completion while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
