Job summary

Persistent is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager - Compliance (SURVEIL-X & NTR-X) to lead large-scale Compliance, SaaS, and Cloud Migration initiatives from Pune. You will serve as the primary customer-facing project lead, coordinating Product, R&D, Operations, Implementation, and Business Analysis teams to deliver end-to-end.

Success means on-time, in-scope delivery with strong governance.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of Project Management experience in Compliance, Financial Services, Technology, or other regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience delivering Cloud Migration and SaaS implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Compliance, Cloud Migration, and SaaS implementation programs from project initiation through successful delivery.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing project lead and single point of contact for stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Drive project governance, risk management, issue resolution, and escalation management activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, R&D, Operations, Implementation, and Business Analysis.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality expectations.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Facilitate executive reviews, steering committee meetings, project status reviews, and governance discussions.
• Manage project dependencies, risks, assumptions, and mitigation plans.
• Drive stakeholder communication and provide regular project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, security, privacy, and regulatory governance standards.
• Support change management initiatives and implementation readiness activities.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure successful adoption of delivered solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and operational effectiveness.
• Manage delivery across geographically distributed and cross-functional teams

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager - Compliance (SURVEIL-X & NTR-X) to join our Delivery and Engineering organization. The role is responsible for leading large-scale Compliance, SaaS, Cloud Migration, and Regulatory Technology initiatives, ensuring successful end-to-end delivery while meeting customer, regulatory, and business expectations. The ideal candidate will provide leadership across the complete project lifecycle, working closely with Product, R&D, Operations, Implementation, Business Analysis teams, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors to drive successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 10 to 15 years of Project Management experience in Compliance, Financial Services, Technology, or other regulated industries.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, multi-stakeholder projects and enterprise programs.
• Hands-on experience delivering Cloud Migration and SaaS implementation projects.
• Strong experience leading enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of project governance, project lifecycle management, and change management practices.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Operations, Implementation, and Business Analysis functions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
• Experience interacting with senior customer leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Strong experience managing project risks, dependencies, escalations, and governance reporting.
• Ability to convert customer requirements into structured implementation and delivery plans.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive projects independently while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.
