Job summary

Utrade Solutions is seeking a diligent Project/Business Analyst to drive requirements gathering and documentation, and to coordinate across developers, QA, and business teams. You will craft acceptance criteria, BRDs, and functional specs, while ensuring communication and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes agile practices, project lifecycle understanding, and strong stakeholder management to enable successful implementation and realized business value.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Bridge business and technical teams like Developer , QA Team , BA Team to ensure clear communication, solution alignment, and successful delivery.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support solution design, testing (UAT), and implementation.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and maintain key project documentation (BRDs, functional specifications, user manuals).
• Plan and manage end-to-end project execution, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure quality delivery through testing, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and successful project closure.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.
• Experience with documentation and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• End-to-end knowledge of the project lifecycle (initiation to closure).
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).
• Strong capabilities in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in risk management, change management, and stakeholder negotiation.
• Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe) is a plus.
• Prior experience in [ IT / Finance / Healthcare / etc.] preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise software solutions is an added advantage.
