Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. seeks a Project Professional to lead design and manufacturing projects for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and boiler drums.
You will drive end-to-end execution with strong ASME code knowledge, vendor coordination, and ERP-based documentation. The role requires 8–10 years in relevant project execution, expertise in MS Project and SAP, and leadership to steer cross-functional teams toward on-time, on-budget delivery.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Professional to handle and execute projects in the design and manufacturing of Critical Alloy Steel/Stainless Steel Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, and High-Pressure Boiler Drums.
The role demands strong technical knowledge of ASME codes, materials, QC/NDT techniques, and proven experience in end-toend project management including commercial handling, ERP systems, and team leadership.
Manage execution of projects for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and boiler drums, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline adherence.
Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using MS Project (Primavera knowledge preferred).
Ensure compliance with ASME codes, relevant material specifications, and source approved suppliers.
Supervise manufacturing processes, QC testing, and NDT techniques to maintain product integrity.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution.
Manage project budgets, contracts, and resource planning effectively.
Ensure compliance and documentation through ERP systems (preferably SAP).
Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team, fostering collaboration and accountability. Handle commercial aspects including import/export, taxation, works contract tax, and contractual obligations.
Maintain adherence to Management Systems for quality, safety, and performance excellence.
Leverage expertise in handling non-ferrous metals (Titanium, Zirconium, Tantalum, Niobium) – considered an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in execution of pressure vessel and heat exchanger projects.
In-depth knowledge of ASME codes, material standards, and manufacturing processes. Strong proficiency in MS Project; knowledge of Primavera preferred.
