Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in India to lead electrical engineering efforts across design review, execution, testing, and commissioning. You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and compliance while meeting project timelines.

The role requires strong expertise in HT/LT systems, power distribution, ELV, lighting, and standard codes (IS, IEC, NBC). On-site supervision and QA/QC enforcement are critical to successful delivery.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tools

Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications (HT/LT systems, substations, DG, UPS, lighting, earthing, ELV systems).
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (IS, IEC, NBC), and client requirements.
• Monitor and supervise on-site electrical works for adherence to approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors for technical approvals and issue resolution.
• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for all electrical installations.
• Track project progress, review schedules, and ensure timely completion of electrical milestones.
• Review BOQs, validate contractor RA bills, and manage variations/change orders.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of all electrical systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and electrical compliance norms.
