Job summary

Excelsoft Technologies Limited in Mysore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end initiatives with strong Agile/Scrum, JIRA and SDLC expertise. You will own planning, execution and client relationships to ensure successful delivery.

Coordinate with Product, Tech and QA teams to drive on-time, within-scope results, while proactively mitigating risks and removing blockers.

Job Description

1. Project Planning, Ownership & Coordination

Take full ownership of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring accountability for all deliverables.

Lead the development of detailed project plans, defining scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.

Act as a Scrum Master where needed, facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

2. Project Execution & Delivery

Get the work executed: Drive the team to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Monitor progress continuously and produce regular status reports for stakeholders.

Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the execution phase.

3. Client Relationship & Communication

Customer Relationship: Act as the primary point of contact for the client; build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.

Ensure clear, consistent, and professional communication regarding project status, risks, and changes.

Manage client expectations effectively to ensure high customer satisfaction.

4. Technical Leadership & Solutions

Technical Understanding: Leverage technical engineering background to dive into details, understand complexities, and bridge the gap between developers and stakeholders.

Suggest Solutions: proactively participate in technical discussions and propose efficient solutions to roadblocks.

Proactive Approach: Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies before they impact the timeline.

Address project issues in a timely and efficient manner, removing obstacles to ensure the team can work without disruption.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Mentor team members and ensure effective collaboration across cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, QA).
