Job Description - Senior Program Manager -IT Validation Solutions (MER00044TY)

Lead the Engineering IT team responsible for delivering scalable Validation Solutions across the automotive V-Cycle. Drive developer productivity, validation automation, AI-enabled engineering, and modern toolchains that accelerate Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) development while improving quality, efficiency, and time-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and delivery of Validation Engineering IT solutions supporting SiL, HiL, XiL, simulation, testing, and release validation ecosystems.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of software engineers, DevOps engineers, platform specialists, and solution architects.
• Drive modernization of validation platforms through cloud, automation, AI, and DevOps practices.
• Improve the developer journey by enabling self-service, integrated toolchains, and AI-powered engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with MB.OS, E/E, Powertrain, and Vehicle Integration teams to deliver business value.
• Establish KPI-driven governance covering platform adoption, validation throughput, automation coverage, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure reliable operations, security, scalability, and continuous improvement of validation platforms and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Automotive Software Engineering, Engineering IT, Validation Solutions, or Engineering Toolchain Development.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, platforms, or large transformation programs.
• Strong track record in digitalization initiatives using KPIs and data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated contribution to innovation and business value creation.
• Experience working in global and multicultural environments.
