Job summary

53 TDW India is seeking a Production Scheduler in Vadodara to coordinate and optimize manufacturing schedules, ensuring customer deadlines are met. The role focuses on material planning, ERP/MRP use, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and procurement teams.

The ideal candidate holds a BE degree and has experience in manufacturing scheduling and inventory control, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans and controls all scheduling activities to meet customer deadlines.
• Manages product lines to align raw materials with production capacity.
• Reschedules demand to accommodate new requirements through manufacturing.
• Ensures materials are received and kitted within schedule constraints.
• Communicates schedules, part availability and resources to manufacturing and updates planners.
• Collaborates with engineering, procurement/logistics, production and customer service to meet demand.
• Coordinates with procurement and supplier engineering on manufacturing methods and outsourcing options when needed.
• Plans demand to meet client or field service requirements throughout order lifecycle.

Overview

Responsible for coordinating and scheduling materials and resources as they contribute to the function of internal and external manufacturing, to ensure that customer deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans and controls all scheduling activities supporting manufactured items, as well as ensures customer demand is met on schedule using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and Resource Levelling methodologies.
• Manages product lines to ensure alignment of raw materials and production capabilities.
• Reschedules existing demand to accommodate new demand and changes through the manufacturing process.
• Assists in ensuring that materials are received and kitted within the constraints dictated by the Manufacturing schedule.
• Communicates demands, including schedules, part availability, available resources, etc. to manufacturing and communicates schedule updates to appropriate production planners.
• Collaborates with the Engineering, Procurement/Logistics, Production, Customer Service and other related departments to ensure product meets all customer demand requirements.
• Works with Procurement and Supplier Engineering to determine best practices for manufacturing methods and outsourcing options, if and when necessary, to support product design or customer demand.
• Plans demand in accordance with client or Field Service Operations requirements and works to ensure demand is met through the entire order lifecycle.
