Job summary

TDW (T.D. Williamson) is seeking a manufacturing scheduling coordinator in Vadodara, India to plan and distribute materials to meet customer deadlines.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production and Customer Service to optimize material flow, apply MRP methods, and maintain accurate schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient use of resources. Strong Excel skills and understanding of constraints are essential; prior experience in manufacturing scheduling is preferred;

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or inventory scheduling.
• Proficient with Excel and basic MRP concepts.
• Ability to analyze constraints and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute work orders to meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Coordinate demand with production and procurement to align raw materials.
• Use MRP to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.
• Communicate schedules and delays with senior planners and other departments.
• Support tooling and process improvements to optimize throughput.

Overview

Coordinate and distribute manufacturing materials and resources needed to ensure that customer deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Plans and distributes work orders to support manufactured items.
• Assists in managing product lines to ensure alignment of raw materials and production capabilities, rescheduling existing demand to accommodate new demand and changes through the manufacturing process.
• Ensures customer demand is met on schedule using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and Resource Leveling methodologies.
• Assists the development of tools to help forecast demand of parts.
• Champions Expedite Process.
• Assists defining KANBAN levels and procedures, internally and with Procurement for Suppliers.
• Helps establish routings and cycle times for new product and to modify existing product to meet demand.
• Communicates Demands to Manufacturing, including schedules, part availability, available resources, etc. & communicates with senior planners to ensure on time delivery of product.
• Collaborates with the Engineering, Procurement/Logistics, Production, Customer Service and other related departments to ensure product meets all customer demand requirements.
• Plans demand in accordance with client or Field Service Operations requirements and works to ensure demand is met through the entire order lifecycle.

Experience

• Manufacturing or inventory scheduling

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to understand constraints, critical path analysis and risk mitigation
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Intermediate Material Requirement Plan (MRP) systems skills preferred
