Job summary

Varroc in India is seeking a Production Engineer to execute production plans for polymer manufacturing and injection molding lines. You will monitor processes, balance lines, and optimize manpower to meet delivery targets while ensuring 5S and safety standards.

You will drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, manage quality systems, and coordinate with multiple departments to minimize COPQ and deliver high-quality parts to customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, or Plastics Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in polymer/plastics manufacturing or injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Execute production plans to meet customer demand and delivery targets.
• Monitor polymer manufacturing processes and control process parameters.
• Perform line balancing and optimize manpower utilization.
• Drive Zero Defect initiatives and reduce COPQ, rejection, and scrap.
• Conduct daily Red Bin analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor material shortages and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Maintain production documents such as check sheets, 4M changes, and skill matrices.
• Ensure timely handover of finished products to assembly.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Ensure product quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
