Job summary

Ashirvad by aliaxis in Hyderabad is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee planning and execution of manufacturing schedules, ensure material availability, and manage trials for new products and materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma CIPET with 3-5 years experience in polymer processing.
• Knowledge of polymer processing (PVC preferred).
• Familiar with ERP systems and shop-floor processes.
• Safety and quality mindset with lean manufacturing exposure.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production to match schedules and ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with planning and stores teams for material availability per plan.
• Run new product and new material trials as directed by functions.
• Maintain production at optimum machine output and ensure quality.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce rejections and manage waste.
• Follow preventive maintenance and manage spare parts per schedule.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and optimize recycled material use.
• Provide training on quality, processes, and work instructions.

Job description

• Execution of production as per planning schedule ensuring availability of compound as per plan
• Co-ordinate with planning and stores team for availability of material as per production plan
• NEW PRODUCT TRIALS: Executing the new product trials as per the directions of respective functions.
• NEW MATERIAL TRIALS: Executing the new materials trials as per the directions of respective functions

Roles And Responsibility

Planning & Execution:

• Execution of production as per planning schedule ensuring availability of compound as per plan
• Co-ordinate with planning and stores team for availability of material as per production plan

Trials & Development

• NEW PRODUCT TRIALS: Executing the new product trials as per the directions of respective functions.
• NEW MATERIAL TRIALs: Executing the new materials trials as per the directions of respective functions

Production & Quality

• Ensuring production at optimum level of the m/c out put. And ensuring the products which are produced are meeting the specifications as mentioned in the production chart.
• Rejection Control – to maintain rejection levels within acceptable limits with Implementing corrective actions to reduce rejection percentage. To ensure rejected material is sent to the designated area.

Machine & Plant Maintenance

• Follow preventive maintenance checklists diligently.
• Ensure spare parts are managed as per preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor machine breakdowns and take corrective/preventive actions promptly.

Material Management

• Ensure availability of raw materials for processing with timely coordination with stores team
• Ensure optimum usage of recycled material without compromising quality.

Training & Development

• Provide training to team on quality standards, process improvements, and work instructions.
• Promote continuous improvement culture within the pipe plant.
