As a Senior Product Manager on our newly formed shared services team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our platform by contributing directly to SailPoint's vision for shared capabilities. Your day‑to‑day will involve shepherding innovative micro‑services and SaaS platform connectivity technologies from discovery to release. You will act as the strategic link between Product Management, Design, and Engineering to conceptualize, design, and deliver high‑quality, scalable foundational services that directly power the entire SailPoint product portfolio in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
The Product Management team at SailPoint is a group of collaborative, results‑oriented problem‑solvers who thrive on turning complex business needs into clear, actionable plans. We partner with internal and external stakeholders to uncover real challenges, ideate alongside cross‑functional partners, and deliver elegant solutions that make a meaningful impact. 30 days: Build relationships with peer Product Managers and Engineering stakeholders. Familiarize yourself with the shared services vision and the specific problem areas you'll be addressing. Actively participate in team meetings to understand the current product backlog and priorities.
60 days: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine requirements and deliver production‑ready work. Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand its impact, and gain consensus. Begin contributing to the product roadmap and backlog prioritization.
6 months: Drive the development and release of new services based on your product vision. Shepherd features through the entire development lifecycle, from planning to launch readiness. Define and track key metrics to measure the success and adoption of new deliverables against business goals.
1 year: Collaborate with leadership to significantly influence the design and product strategy for your areas of responsibility. Identify and experiment with new solutions to shape the future of the SailPoint platform. Gather production feedback to create a data‑driven product backlog.
