Job summary

PrivaSapien is seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to own the foundational layer that powers Privacy Governance, Responsible AI, and Trusted Agents.

You'll lead identity, data, cloud-native runtime, security, and extensibility capabilities, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable performance for all product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap for PrivaSapien's platform foundation and common services.
• Manage sprint end-to-end: FRD, FDD, sprint grooming, UX, test cases, release notes, KT, docs, releases.
• Own identity/access foundation: authentication, RBAC, key/secrets management as secure services.
• Own data/messaging backbone: data pipelines, queuing, messaging for throughput and scalability.
• Own cloud-native runtime and performance: Kubernetes orchestration, CPU/GPU optimization.
• Drive platform security end-to-end with VAPT cycles and secure-by-design reviews.
• Own extensibility: connectors, third-party integrations, design system in Figma, dashboard framework.
• Own licensing/entitlement services for packaging/enforcement across the portfolio.
• Serve as senior escalation point for platform issues across product/engineering/security.

About The Role

PrivaSapien is building a systems-first trust platform for data, AI, and agents. We are looking for a Senior Platform Product Manager to own the foundational layer that every PrivaSapien product is built on - the shared, common services and infrastructure that power Privacy Governance, Responsible AI, and Trusted Agents alike.

You will own capabilities spanning identity and access (authentication, RBAC, key management), data movement and messaging (data pipelines, queuing, and message handling), cloud-native runtime and performance (Kubernetes orchestration, CPU and GPU optimization), reliability and observability (error handling, troubleshooting, log management), platform security (VAPT and secure-by-design controls), and extensibility and commercialization (licensing, connectors, third-party integrations, dashboards, and a shared design system in Figma). Your mission is to make this foundation reliable, secure, performant, and easy for every product team to build on. Strong technical grounding in cloud-native platforms, security, and infrastructure is essential for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap for PrivaSapien's platform foundation and common services used by every product - spanning identity and access, data and messaging, cloud-native runtime, reliability and observability, security, and extensibility.
• Manage the sprint end to end, ensuring on-time completion of every stage: feature prioritization - writing the FRD - FDD - sprint grooming - guiding UX - validating test cases - development tracking - KT - documentation - release notes - sprint retrospective.
• Own the identity and access foundation - authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and key and secrets management - as secure, reusable services with clear standards for every product team.
• Own the data and messaging backbone - data pipelines, queuing, and message handling - ensuring throughput, ordering, durability, and scalability across the platform.
• Own cloud-native runtime and performance - Kubernetes orchestration, along with CPU and GPU optimization - to deliver scale, compute efficiency, and predictable infrastructure cost.
• Drive platform security end to end - VAPT cycles, secure-by-design reviews, and remediation SLAs in partnership with the security team - and set the standards for reliability and observability, including logging, error handling, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Own the builder experience and extensibility - connectors, third-party integrations, a shared design system in Figma, and a reusable dashboard framework - so product teams can build quickly and consistently.
• Own licensing and entitlement services that support packaging and enforcement across the product portfolio.
• Serve as the senior point of accountability and final escalation point for platform issues across product teams, engineering, SRE/DevOps, security, sales (objection handling) and customer success (bug and feature requirements).
• Define and own platform success metrics - internal adoption, reliability (uptime, latency), security posture, performance and cost efficiency, and time-to-integrate - using data to prioritize the roadmap and report outcomes to leadership; and ensure high-quality delivery through performance benchmarks, SLAs/SLOs, automated testing, and quality-and-security-gated releases.

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years in enterprise software, including significant product management experience owning platform, infrastructure, or developer-platform products.
• Strong technical background - ideally with hands-on engineering experience - in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and APIs, able to go deep with engineering on design and trade-offs.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments, CI/CD, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Solid understanding of identity and access management (authentication, RBAC, key and secrets management) and platform security practices, including VAPT and secure-by-design.
• Experience with data pipelines and messaging or queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar), with an understanding of throughput, reliability, and scaling.
• Understanding of performance and cost optimization - including CPU and, ideally, GPU workloads - and of observability practices (logging, monitoring, tracing, and incident response).
• Demonstrated success owning a product end to end by establishing reliability, a mature bug review process, predictable sprint execution, and strong internal adoption.
• Track record of taking complete ownership of the platform by being the single source of truth for engineering, product teams, security, and leadership.
• Experience treating a platform as a product - defining APIs, connectors, and integrations and driving developer and consumer adoption - with familiarity with design systems and dashboard frameworks (e.g., Figma).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership - able to influence engineering, security, SRE/DevOps, design, and product teams without direct authority.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience building platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or security products.
• Experience with GPU optimization and AI/ML infrastructure - inference serving, model hosting, and accelerators.
• Familiarity with licensing and entitlement systems and multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
• Experience with observability stacks (e.g., ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and SRE practices such as SLOs and error budgets.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA/CKAD, AWS/GCP/Azure, CISSP) or a background in engineering, security, or DevOps.
